3.2 Output protection
3.1.1Output short circuit protection
In the case of the receiver output short circuit, the transmitter stops working, and when the receiver is removed, the transmitter will return to normal operation.
3.1.2Output over current protection
After triggering the over current protection, the transmitter stops working, and when the
receiver is removed, the transmitter will return to normal operation.
3.1.3Over-temperature protection
When the D9100 temperature of the transmitter is higher than 80°Cor the external NTC temperature is higher than 60°C, the transmitter stops working and the temperature decreases to normal condition. After the receiver is removed, the transmitter returns to normal operation.
3.1.4Metal detection
When a metal larger than the size of a coin is detected on the transmitter coil, the transmitter stops
working and after the metal is removed, the transmitter returns to normal operation.
3.1.5Foreign body detection
A coin-sized metal object is inserted between the transmitting coil and the receiving coil under normal operation of the transmitter and receiver. The transmitter must be able to stop working within 2 minutes (the receiver protocol version needs to be WPC1.1 above).
3.1.6Vertex Offset
under the normal operation of the transmitter, the receiver coil position is offset relative to the transmitter coil, which causes the transmitter coil voltage to be too high, and the transmitter must be able to enter the current limiting mode to protect the transmitter.
